The Boca Raton Historical Society decided to take a leading role in the celebration of Boca Raton's centennial of incorporation, by publishing this book. They hope that this look back at more than one hundred years of local history will prove both entertaining and educational and serve as a salute to all the men and women who were drawn over the years to the “Dream City of the Western World.”
